Bridges to the Baccalaureate is a program that provides support to students in under-represented minority groups to pursuing studies in biomedical science. Historically under-represented groups in the biomedical sciences include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, and natives of the U.S. Pacific Islands. Benefits to students include:

  • Financial support for supplies and educational expenses
  • Guaranteed admission to SUNY Binghamton after completion of 2-year degree at OCC
  • Paid summer science research experience at SUNY Binghamton ($2500 for five weeks!)
