Mathematics Lab
The Mathematics Department at Onondaga Community College provides tutoring support for all students who are enrolled in mathematics courses. Additionally, students who are enrolled in courses that require knowledge of mathematics may also receive assistance. The Math Lab is open to all students to use as a quiet study area -- not just for tutoring. Math text books, calculators and videos are available for use on-site.
Lab Operation
Students receive help by either making an appointment with a tutor or on a walk-in basis. It is recommended that students make appointments one week in advance because of the high demand for tutoring assistance.
Students are required to sign in and out of the lab by using their OCC I.D. Cards.
Lab Hours
The lab is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Evening hours vary each semester and are posted in the lab. Tutors are available 42 weeks per year to provide assistance during the times that classes are in session.
Math Department Testing Schedule
Monday through Friday tests will be administered in the Math Lab from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. without an appointment.
A picture ID is required for all tests taken in the Math Lab and cell phones are not allowed during testing.
