Blue Line Shuttle Service

 Blue Line Logo (small)

Onondaga’s new shuttle system is set to launch this semester! Hop on a bus, take the Blue Line, and make your way around campus easier than ever before.

The Blue Line shuttle system represents a significant new service for students and a step toward a more sustainable campus. Running on a loop across campus, the service eliminates long walks, trudging through bad weather, and cumbersome drives to different parking lots.

Service for the Fall 2012 semester runs from August 27 – December 23. Click here for a full map of service.

The Blue Line’s fleet is made up of three vehicles: a 30-passenger bus, an 18-passenger mini-bus, and a 12-passenger van. Maximum wait time is anticipated at 10-15 minutes, and two vehicles will run during peak college hours. The mini-bus includes a wheel-chair lift, and the system can also respond to requests from individuals needing specific accommodations.

Hours of Operation:

  • Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: Noon – 6 p.m.

Any service delays – whether it’s for traffic, inclement weather or a campus emergency – will be posted on the web. With appropriate planning, students can use the Blue Line and reach their classes in sufficient time.

Check back in early December for the Winter 2012 schedule. For more information, contact transit@sunyocc.edu or call Enterprise Services at (315) 498-7230.

Please note that the shuttle system is a work in progress. We ask for your patience as we respond to the actual demonstrated needs to the community.
