Onondaga Community College has a food link located in the
Community Care Hub that is open to all students (on/off campus and workforce
development students). We can provide you with food assistance short-term
while we connect you with community and government resources that will help you
with food assistance long-term. The Food Link is open every Monday and
Thursday from 2-4pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 4-6pm throughout the academic
year. Individuals can schedule appointments online or in-person to streamline
access, avoid long lines and to provide a personalized approach service.

If you’re having difficulties coming to and from campus to
attend to your academic schedule, we can work with you to identify and receive
transportation assistance. We will work with you to help identify options
and resources to make getting back and forth to campus less stressful.
Do you have trouble making sense of your finances? Come to the
Community Care Hub for assistance planning out your finances so you can pay for
school. We can help you identify the best way to utilize your resources so you
can stay in school. Financial literacy workshops will be available
throughout the academic year.
After graduation you may be interested in purchasing your first
home. The Community Care Hub would like to help you by providing home
buyers education courses throughout the academic year.
Onondaga Community College can’t provide you with health
insurance, but we can connect you with resources that will assist in navigating
the process and help you understand your affordable healthcare options.
The Community Care Hub can help you find daycare and ways to
afford these services while attending college. We can also connect you to
community resources for parents that are specifically designed to help reduce
the stress associated with finding affordable child care.
The Community Care Hub provides access to free tax preparation
services and secures accountants who will work with you one-on-one to complete
your tax return during the tax season.
The Community Care Hub provides scholarships to students that
qualify for books, tuition, and supplies. Check with our staff to see if
assistance can be provided for you.
